Can you be happy for 100 days in a row?We live in times when super-busy schedules have become something to boast about. While the speed of life increases, there is less and less time to enjoy the moment that you are in. The ability to appreciate the moment, the environment and yourself in it, isthe base for the bridge towards long term happiness of any human being.71% of people tried to complete this challenge, but failed quoting lack of time as the main reason. These people simpy did not have time to be happy. Do you?

Every day submit a picture of what made you happy! It can be anything from a meet-up with a friend to a very tasty cake in the nearby coffee place, from a feeling of being at home after a hard day to a favor you didto a stranger.

#100happyday challenge is for you – not for anyone else. It is not a happiness competition or a showing off contest. If you try to please / make others jealous via your pictures – you lose without even starting. Same goes for cheating.

So first you register in the challenge >here<, then choose your favorite platform for submitting pictures. Here you can decide yourself on the privacy of your participation & happy moments:

  • Share your picture via facebook, twitter or instagram with a public hashtag #100happydays;

  • Come up with your own hashtag to share your pictures with to limit publicity. (Don’t forget to tell us how to find your pictures though 😉 )

  • Simply send your pictures to myhappyday (at) 100happydays.com to avoid any publicity.

Why would I do that? People successfully completing the challenge claimed to:
– Start noticing what makes them happy every day;
– Be in a better mood every day;
– Start receiving more compliments from other people;
– Realize how lucky they are to have the life they have;
– Become more optimistic;
– Fall in love during the challenge.

Even when the challenge is over the collected 100 happy moments can always remind you about the beauty of your life. For that, you can receive a little set of square prints with all your 100 happy days at the finish line of the challenge!

Visit http://www.100happydays.com/done, tell us the story of your challenge and get 100 happy moments printed. Voilà!

Hey everyone.
It has now been over one hundred days since our journey on the 100 Happy Days Challenge started.

It has been a lot of fun, posting daily photographs with you all on Instagram and sharing why each picture means a lot to us.

Now that the challenge is complete, I thought I’d post every single photograph from the last one hundred days on WordPress. So here they are…

At the beginning and end of the challenge, we were asked to rate our level of happiness. On my start date [*April 6th*], I rated myself as a two out of ten, and on my end date [*July 15th*] I rated myself a five out of ten.
Of course, other factors are at play when rating yourself at the beginning and end of the challenge, but it’s nice to feel like you’re happier, none the less, when looking back at day one compared to day one hundred.

Overall, this was a really sweet challenge, which helps you remember what makes you happy in moments of sadness or insecurity. It has you searching through your favourite photographed memories, or organising plans to contribute to new ones, and that is lovely.

  1. Pleased to see that you made progress, and I agree with what you said about any increasing score being a reason to feel pretty happy regardless of the amount.

    That said, did you have any 10/10 moments in the year? If you didn’t have one, hearing about 2-3 moments that you rate really high would still be pretty cool. Would also be interested to know if you’re considering doing this again sometime later in life.
