Another day, another nomination to finally get around to writing.

This time I was nominated by the incredible Holly from Hollyonablog. Her blog is lovely, and I hope you all check it out. [*Thank you so much for the nomination*].

With the Versatile Blogger Award, the rules are really simple: you just have to share seven things which other bloggers or readers may not know about you. And afterwards, you nominate seven others to do the same.

So let’s get started!

Seven Facts about Me:

1. Law wasn’t my first university course choice. Originally, I applied to do English and Creative Writing, but a couple of weeks before my A-Level results were released, I realised it wasn’t what I wanted to do anymore. Although I love creative writing with all my heart -[*I spend so much of my spare time writing*]- I felt I needed to pursue a different subject for my career.

2. The E is for Elizabeth. A lot of bloggers when they tag, or nominate me in things spell my name as ‘Charlottee’, thinking the second ‘E’ in my .com is part of my first name. However, it is actually just the inclusion of my middle name, which is Elizabeth.

3. I have never travelled outside the UK. In fact, I only obtained my passport a month or so ago.

4. ^ That being said I have officially organised my first holiday. This week, I have managed to organise my first holiday abroad with my boyfriend. We are going in November to Rome, Florence and then Venice, during my Reading Week at university. I am so so so so excited for this!

5. My ultimate goal in life is to publish a book. Since I was maybe seven or eight, I’ve always been writing short stories, and in the last couple of years I have managed to pen two non-fiction manuscripts. One is Young-Adult Fantasy, and the other is more Dystopian.

6. When I’m older I want to run a doggy hotel. A few months ago, I saw a Facebook page advertising a part-time Doggy Hotel, and since then I have been obsessed with the idea of looking after dogs when their owners go on holiday. I’m such a dog lover, and I want so many, that it would just be heaven to look after loads of dogs all the time.

7. My favourite poem is by William Wordsworth.
Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood.

With light upon him from his father’s eyes!

See, at his feet, some little plan or chart,

Some fragment from his dream of human life,

Shaped by himself with newly-learn{e}d art

A wedding or a festival,

A mourning or a funeral;

And this hath now his heart,

And unto this he frames his song:

Then will he fit his tongue

To dialogues of business, love, or strife;

But it will not be long

  1. This is such a good post, I was obsessed with Law at A-Level. I went with Psychology instead for my degree but I still find myself researching it
