Hi everyone!

August has been a really busy month for me, as I’m getting ready to move house twice in September. It’s going to be rather stressful, but also rather fun too!

Throughout August, I haven’t really been looking out for favourites to share on my blog, but I have purchased a couple of things that have slyly made their way onto this list by accident.

I hope you all have had a wonderful August, whether you’ve been working, relaxing, or finding out your A-Level results. I also hope you enjoy this post!

Bourjois Sweet Kiss Lipstick

Shade: 41 Beige Elegant
Price: £4.99
Place: Amazon
Opinion: I actually found this lipstick recently, whilst packing up my boxes to move. Until then, I’d never even used it. In fact, I didn’t even know I owned it. The colour, itself, is really pretty, especially now we are coming into those precious Autumn months, and with one application you get a nice final look. It is very soft and lightweight, and perfect for when you’re in a rush but want to hide that fact. Also, I really love the purple and silver combo.

Rimmel Natural Bronzer

IMG_8160Shade: 022 Sun Bronze
Price: £3.98
Place: Notino
Opinion: Being very fair-skinned, bronzer isn’t really an everyday thing for me. That being said, one days where it is, this Rimmel product works perfectly. I normally apply it on top of my foundation, but then tone it down with my Stay Matte Pressed Powder. That way it doesn’t come across as too dramatic, but still gives a shimmery effect. [*P.S. It isn’t as dark as it looks, I swear*].

So Eco Foundation Brush

IMG_8167Type: Foundation Brush
Price: £6.50
Place: Fragrance Direct [Same brush, different packaging]
So Eco
Opinion: My previous brush was very old and tatty, so much so that I’m sort of glad I lost it on a night out, so I could finally splurge out on a new one. So Eco is a cruelty free brand, as stated on their lovely packaging. Their whole product line prides itself in using ethically sourced components and bio-degradable packaging, which I really love.

The Foundation Brush I purchased, is very high-quality for the price. It makes applying foundation and concealer really simple, and doesn’t leave you with that streaky, annoying outcome.

Ann Summer Red and Black Bralette

IMG_8169IMG_8176Price: £11.20
Place: Ann Summers  [Similar product]
Opinion: Although I mostly wear this under a t-shirt or blouse, I have seen a lot of people wearing bralettes, such as this one, by themselves at festivals or when it’s been really warm outside. For whichever way you decide to wear it, this bralette is completely comfortable, with two thin straps to hold it up, and a final thin strap to hold it together around your back. The crochet style is very pretty, and I adore the bright red against the black.

M&S Autumn Scarf

IMG_8178Price: £9.99
Place: M&S
Opinion: As Summer is slowly fading into Autumn [*my favourite season, I might add*], I get all excited about scarves. What drew me to this scarf was it’s Autumnal colours – the oranges, the reds, the greys, and the greens. These colours are my favourites because there’s little nicer than wandering through a park where all the leaves are falling down around you [*even if it does get very cold very quickly*].

New Look Anita and Green Yellow Floral Print Frill Tea Dress

Price: £10.00
Place: New Look [Full length view]
Opinion: I went back and forth to New Look in the last couple of weeks to find a similar yellow dress I’d seen on their website. However, due to the massive sales on at the time, I couldn’t find it in my size. Instead, I found this dress in a Size 6 [*it feels more like a Size 8/10 though*] on the sale rack, and I love it. Reduced from £24.99, it’s dainty and cute, with a button and strings to secure its wrap around look.
